JoAnn P. Bossler, (nee Loader), 75, of Savannah, GA, formerly of Washington, MO, passed away Saturday, April 4, 2026.  She was born on April 18, 1950, only child of Orlin and Helen Loader (nee Eversgerd).

A graduate of Belleville Area College, she earned her B.S. and Master’s degrees from Maryville University, St. Louis. 

JoAnn taught science at St. Gertrude School in Krakow, MO for 34 years, receiving the St. Louis Archdiocese Distinguished Teacher Award.  She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, Cardinal Baseball, travel, and a quiet evening at home with a good book.

She married Dave Bossler on August 22, 1970.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her three children and their spouses, Dave, Jr. and Jenna Bossler of Gulf Shores, AL, Adam and Jordan Bossler of Savannah, GA, and Sara and Jeramy Tipton of Kansas City, MO.  Also surviving are her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother-in-law, Bob and Myrna Bossler of San Diego, CA, and sister-in-law, Susan Bossler of Belleville, IL.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Otto and Pat Bossler, brother-in-law, Bernie Bossler, and granddaughter, Haley Bossler. 

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m., Friday, April 10, 2026, at Fox & Weeks, Hodgson Chapel.

Graveside Service will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 10, 2026, at Greenwich Cemetery.
